Welcome to Bollinger Solar, a premier solar development company based in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. Founded by a father and son, we are a family-run business.
Our mission is simple: to develop distributed generation solar projects behind the meter in the state of Pennsylvania. We aim to address the increasing demand for energy produced in an environmentally friendly manner.
Leadership
Nate Bollinger
Nate Bollinger is the Managing Member of Bollinger Solar LLC.
He is responsible for all aspects of Land Acquisition, Leasing, Sales, Financing, Land Development and more at Bollinger Solar.
Nate is a proud husband and father of one, with another child on the way!
Tim Bollinger
Tim, a lifelong entrepreneur, began his business journey early. At 21, he founded ESCO Security, managing everything from sales to installation and bookkeeping. Seizing an opportunity at 25, Tim became a partner in Meadow Valley Electric, forming MVE Group.
Throughout his career, Tim prioritized continuous learning, earning electrical journeyman and master licenses, NICET certifications, and various other qualifications. Starting as CFO, he later assumed the role of CEO. Tim's visionary leadership established MVE Group as the premier electrical, security, and energy contractor in the area. He underscores the importance of outstanding customer service, employee satisfaction, and delivering top-quality products.
Tim is Nate's father and plays a vital role in Bollinger Solar, working closely with Nate to contribute to its growth and success. Tim is a father to four (two biological and their spouses) and proud grandfather of six, soon to be seven grandchildren.
Jared Martin
Jared, a Lancaster County native, earned a Mechanical Engineering degree from Penn State University. He then joined the Navy’s Nuclear Propulsion Program, qualifying as a Nuclear Engineer Officer and Submarine Officer aboard USS Pennsylvania. After 7 years he retired from active duty and now serves in the US Navy Reserve.
In 2023, Jared became the Director of Operations at Bollinger Solar, overseeing land development and construction.
Jared is a devoted husband and father of two beautiful children.
